“Hush…”
“Not yet, angel,” he growls. “I’m not just going to claim you like that.”
He shifts me, and I whimper as his thick cock pushes between my legs, with the underside of him hot against my slick pussy.
“I am going to make you scream though,” he growls.
His huge hands grip my ass, and he kisses me deeply before his mouth drops to my neck. His muscles ripple, and I moan as he grinds me again him. My pussy slides up and down against the underside of his big cock, his thickness teasing my clit as I moan eagerly. My arms go around his neck, and I gasp as my hips begin to rock on him, against him. He so fucking huge and thick, and my clit drags over every single inch of him. I’m so wet, dripping all over him, and more of his sticky precum leaks from his crown. He growls into my neck, this primal heat thundering between us both as I just start to let go.
It feels like sex, or, I think it does. But it’s not. He’s not inside, just thrusting against my pussy and driving me wild. My face scrunches up, and my eyes close in pure pleasure as he hungrily bites and sucks at my neck. I’m lost, surrounded by his huge muscles, riding against his enormous cock. I can feel the pressure building higher and higher, and I know I’m going to shatter for him.
“Hush,” I whisper. “I… oh fuck you feel so good!”
“I want to make you feel good, angel,” he groans. “I want to always make you feel good. I want to feel that little pussy come for my cock. I want to feel your honey drip down my balls. Soon, angel,” he growls. “I’ll take this,” he grunts, thrusting against my pussy and making me moan eagerly. “And I’ll make you mine,” he growls into my ear, making me quiver in pleasure.
“But for now, I just want you to come. Right now, I want to feel you melt for me.”
“Hush!” I gasp. “Oh God!”
“Come for me, angel,” he hisses. “Come for me, my little rose. Let me feel this cunt drip all over me. Let me feel this pretty pussy squirt all over my fat cock.”
He thrusts, grinding and grunting and growling into my skin, and it’s all too much. With a cry, I crush my lips to his, and my arms go tight around his neck, like I’m holding on for dear life on a bull I’m riding. He grunts and thrusts again me, that thick cock dragging over my clit, and suddenly, I’m coming.
I shatter, shivering and gasping for air as I shamelessly rock against his cock. Over and over, my cum leaks all over him, making him and my thighs slick and glistening. He growls deeply, thrusting against me until suddenly, his muscles tighten.
“Make me come, angel,” he hisses. “Make me fucking come.”
He thrusts against me, and suddenly, I feel it. I cry out, another orgasm shattering over me as his hot sticky cum spurts from his thick head. It splashes over my tummy, and my thighs, and it drips down his cock and runs in hot little sticky rivulets across my pussy. I kiss him hungrily and scream into his mouth as I rock against him, grinding my messy pussy against his throbbing, pulsing cock until we come to a panting halt.
I cling to him, shivering, like I’m holding on for dear life. I know he hasn’t taken my virginity—not technically, at least. But, it’s more intimate than anything I’ve ever felt in my entire life. I kiss him slowly, never wanting to let him go. For a second, I feel silly, and clingy, so I start to uncoil from him. But he stops me, and holds me tight, like he’s read my mind.
“You’re not clingy, baby,” he purrs. “I never want your hands to leave me.”
I melt into him, kissing him slowly as we just rock together, time and the rest of the world melting around us.
“Señorita Del Campo!”
I almost scream at the knock on the door to my room. Hush bristles, growling as he rolls me over as if to shield me with his body. The knock thunders again.
“Señorita! Por favor!”
Hush glances at me, and then the door again, snarling lowly.
“What—what is it?” I call out breathlessly.
“The compound is on lockdown,” the man yells in Spanish.
I freeze. Oh fuck, they know Hush is missing. I turn to him, my face white but he shakes his head.
“If I was missing, they wouldn’t have knocked,” he growls.
“One of your father’s men is missing!” the man yells through the door.
I turn to Hush, and he grins.
“Okay!” I call back through the door. “Well, what do you need?”
“Just for you to stay in your room! We’ll be outside guarding!”
“I’m fine! You really don’t have to—”
“Your father insists, señorita!”
I sigh. “Okay, okay. Fine.”
I look at Hush and bite my lip. “You need to run.”
He frowns. “No.”
“Yes, you do,” I say, my voice tight. “You’re out of the cage, you’re free.”
“No, I’m not.”
“Hush, run.”
He scowls. “Not without you, angel. And besides, though I never want to leave you, I need to get back.”
I frown. “To…” my mouth falls open in horror. “To the cage? To your cell?”
“Yes.”
“No!”
“They’ll realize soon enough it’s their missing man, not me in there,” he growls. “And we can’t run together right now, it’s too hot with the alarm raised.”
“Hush,” I gasp urgently. “Please! You have to go without me!”
“Not a fucking chance,” he growls, and without another thought, he scoops me tightly into his arms, and he crushes his lips to mine. I moan, kissing him eagerly, giving him every part of me as I do, before slowly, we pull apart.
Hush slides from the bed, not looking happy about it as he grabs his jeans. I kneel at the edge of the bed, and he growls and scoops me against him. He kisses me deeply—hard and bruising, taking my breath away.
“Tonight,” he groans.
“Tonight was…” I blush.
“It won’t be the last time,” he whispers as he leans in, cups my jaw in his huge hand, and kisses me slow and deep. He pulls away and turns to the balcony. I follow, stepping through the doors after him into the cool desert night.
“You should run,” I whisper, wrapping my arms around him from behind and kissing his huge, muscled back.
“But I won’t. Not without you.”
He swings over the edge, grabbing ahold of the ivy vines tangling down the trellises.
“I’ll be back for you, my rose,” he growls. He leans in and kisses me fiercely one last time, and then, he’s gone back into the darkness.
Chapter Eleven
Hush
I spend the next week in my cage. Entirely.
No fights, no exercise yard, nothing. They’re freaked about Carlos being missing, of course. And they come for me, also of course. For a week, it’s basically beatings, tasering, shouted questions—rinse, repeat. But I just stay silent.
And what do they have on me? I’m in a locked cage, after all, and I know they won’t find Carlos. After I left Catalina’s room, I came back here, collected him, and snuck off to the back entrance of the old fort. It’s there where the food staff, the cooks, the bartenders, and all of that come through to assist Jorge’s guests. It’s also where they keep a giant trash compactor that gets emptied into truck once every two weeks and carted off to God knows where.
Rest in pieces, Carlos.
The whole place is on edge, but the worst of it is that it means I don’t see Catalina for a fucking week. The days go by slowly, maddeningly so. I’ve had longer bouts of nothing in here over the years—longer in the solitary hole too. But this time, its torture. Because this time, I know what’s out there—this time, I know who’s out there, waiting for me.
On the fifth day, I’m ready to tear my fucking head off. I’m half asleep on my cot when I hear the ping of something strike the dirty rock-hewn floor. I frown, and in the moonlight from the overhead hole, I spot it.
A rock.
But it’s a rock wrapped in p
aper. I frown and grab it, yanking the paper that’s been taped onto it off. I look up at the hole it was clearly dropped from, and my jaw tightens. I look back at the paper in my hand though, and suddenly, my heart melts.
“Mi corazón,” it reads in soft feminine handwriting. And there, beneath it, a lipstick mark from lips.
Her lips.
I groan, bringing the note to my face. It fucking smells like her, too. The fire inside of me blazes to life, and I groan as I look up at the hole in the ceiling. I know she’s not right up there—the hole looks up into the courtyard of a part of the old barracks. She had to have thrown this from the parapets of the wall surrounding the courtyard, which is a phenomenal fucking shot. I know I won’t see her, and she won’t see me, but I look up anyways at the moon.
For the first time in my life, I’m not just fighting, I have a reason to fight. For the first time in my life, I know what I want.
And I’m not waiting another second without her.
“Hola, puta.”
I frown and open my eyes. It’s Manuel—I knew from his footsteps, and those stupid fucking candies.
“Big fight tomorrow, bitch.”
I say nothing, and he chuckles.
“Sometimes, you make me very angry, Hush Hush. But today?” he laughs. “Oh, not today. I went into town last night and got some puuuuussy.”
He drawls the word out disgustingly. My face is neutral as I stare at him through the bars.
“Señor Del Campo, he pays me well to keep you locked up like a dog, bitch. So I bought some nice whore last night.”
“Y cómo es tu madre?” I smile.
And how is your mother.
Manuel’s face darkens, and I half except him to call his boys in again to jump me with tasers, but he swallows it back. He smiles thinly, wagging a finger.
“Uh-uh, Hush Hush,” he says. “No, not today. Today, I am in too good a mood for your bitch ass.”
I shrug.
“No, I had fun last night. But man,” he sighs and his grin curls at the corner of his mouth. “You know who I bet has a sweet, sweet little pussy? Huh, Hush Hush?”
I shrug again, silent.
“Guess.”
“Fuck off, Manuel.”
He chuckles.
“Don’t tell me you haven’t thought about it. Too bad no pussy for you, huh? And you know who I talk about.”
“No, I don’t.”
He smiles wickedly.
“Señorita Del Campo.”
I see fucking red.
“Ooo, la la!” Manuel chuckles, shaking his head and whistling, seemingly oblivious of the ticking nuclear bomb he’s set off inside of me on the other side of the bars from him.
“I would tear that pussy up! That whore last night? I close my eyes and I pretend it’s that little rich bitch.” He crows in laughter and mimes thrusting the air in front of him.
“I bet that’s some good pussy; you know?”
My jaw clenches, my teeth grinding.
“Fuck you,” I hiss darkly.
He laughs.
“Aww, you got a crush, Hush Hush?” he chuckles again. “Maybe someday, I fuck her good and tell you about it, no?”
I stand from my cot, and he laughs.
“You mad?” he jeers. “Good! You fight good tonight. I have lots of bets going, so don’t fuck up.”
I start to walk towards the cell door. Manuel is standing right at the line spray painted on the floor on his side of it, and he grins lecherously at me.
“Si, I fuck her good, Hush Hush. Maybe I fuck that sweet little culo, too, no? Maybe I fuck her ass and make her say my name, no?”
I get to the door, looking right through the bars at Manuel. Red mist clouds my vision, and something primal and medieval boils inside of me.
He chuckles again. “Maybe after I fuck that rich-bitch pussy, I let you smell my finger—”
That line spray painted on the floor? They use it to know where to stand—where the length of my reach is. Except, there’s one problem—a flaw I’ve let them sit on, and fester with, for years, just waiting.
…The line is about seven inches too close to my cell door.
I’ve been waiting for this, and it’s good.
My hand juts out, and the look of pure horror on Manuel’s face when I grab his throat is sweet as hell to see. He even glances down to see that his toes are an inch behind the line, and he knows he fucked up.
“Hush—”
He doesn’t get the word out. I yank him hard against the bars, crushing his nose and knocking out his front teeth. He starts to scream, but my other hand clamps his jaw shut.
“Hey Manuel,” I growl right in his face, my eyes narrowed and locked with his wide, terrified ones.
“I’ll see you in Hell.”
One twisting yank of my arms, and he’s done. He slumps to the ground, and I’m instantly yanking the keys from his belt. This time though, I’m not coming back here.
This time, I’m done.
And I’m taking her with me.
Chapter Twelve
Catalina
“You keep her locked in here like a bird in a cage!”
“Elena, enough!”
“It’s not enough! You need to hear it, and she respects you too much to throw it in your face like she should.”
“Elena, please!”
“She’s not a child, Jorge!”
“She’s my child!”
“And she’s not Danielle, either.”
I squeeze my eyes shut, resting my head against my father’s office door at the sound of my mother’s name from inside. He and Elena were arguing when I walked by, and while part of me knew I should just keep walking, when I realized they were talking about me, I stopped.
“She’s…” My father trails off and mutters something under his breath.
“She’s all I have left of her, Elena,” he growls darkly. “And I will keep that safe, even if it means keeping her here.”
“A rose doesn’t last long in a vase, Jorge,” my aunt spits back. “She needs roots, and sunlight, and freedom. What are you so afraid of?”
My father scoffs. “Elena, you’re smarter than that. Look at me. Look at the empire I’ve built. You think my enemies wouldn’t stoop to hurting her to get to me?”
“I’m not saying she needs to hitchhike across America or anything!” Elena snaps. “But, something! She needs friends to socialize with, and boyfriends!”
My dad swears loudly.
“She does, mi hermano. She’s twenty-two, for God’s sake. She’s not a baby.”
“Boys are shit, Elena.”
My aunt snorts. “As if I don’t know that?”
"So?”
“So, they’re not all shit. And sometimes, a girl needs to feel desired. She needs to feel like someone wants her.”
The room is silent, and I chew at my lip, my pulse racing.
“Jorge,” my aunt sighs. “Give her something to build on—something to make her own. What is she going to do here? Lay around all day and watch your disgusting fights at night?”
“And spend time with her father!” my dad hisses. “And want for nothing and live a life of luxury and ease! Si, Elena! That is what I want for her!”
“And what does she want, hmm?” my aunt snaps back. “Have you even asked her?”
“She went to school,” he growls. “She was allowed to go to college, in that filthy, dangerous city.”
“She had four bodyguards, two drivers, a chef, a full-time cleaner, and lived in a penthouse over Central Park, Jorge,” Elena mutters dryly.
“You say that like it’s a bad thing!” My father yells.
“It is! She was in college! She was supposed to be spending time with friends her own age, and going to bars, and meeting people—”
“And studying! And staying safe! And not getting raped or murdered in those filthy streets!”
“Ay-yay-yay! Jorge! The world is not full of monsters!”
“Yes, it is.”
/>
My father’s voice is strained and quiet.
“And I of all people know it, Elena, because I’m surrounded by them. I do business with them,” he snaps. “So believe me when I tell you, the world is overrun with monsters.”
They’re silent for almost a full minute, and I almost start to walk away, before my aunt speaks again.
“You need to ask her what she wants, Jorge. Maybe it’s helping you with work, maybe it’s not. But she needs to live her own life, and you know that.”
There’s another minute of silence.
“I’m sorry for yelling,” my father growls.
Elena snorts a laugh. “Te amo, hermano.”
“I love you too.” He sighs. “I’ll speak with her. I will, Elena, don’t give me that look.”
Elena says something, but I can’t quite hear it. I strain my ear as I press it tight to the door, leaning my weight against it. My hand slips, and it all happens quickly. My palm hits the handle-style doorknob, the door swings open, and I go tumbling inside my father’s office with a gasp.
I look up, red-faced and horrified as the two of them look at me in surprise.
“Mi hija?”
“Uh, hi.”
Elena grins widely, shaking her head. She reaches down and helps me up before stepping close to me.
“Tell him what you want,” she whispers in my ear. “Show him you’re the daughter of a king and queen like I know you are.”
She steps back and winks at me. “I’ll give you two a minute.”
My aunt squeezes my arm and steps out of the room, closing the door behind her. I swallow, my face still red as I turn back to my stern-faced father.
“So,” he says with a sigh. He folds his arms across his chest and leans against his desk. “How much did you hear?”
“Oh, not much, I was just walking by, and—”
“Catalina.”
I frown.
“All of it, I think.”
Slowly, my father smiles, shaking his head.
“Look, dad, she’s wrong and also right.”
He frowns. “How so?”
“I don’t hate it here. And I love being able to just spend time with you.”
